ISO 9001:2008
Requirements for a quality management system.

ISO 14001:2004
Achieved in October 2005. Requirements for an environmental management system to enable an organisation to develop and implement a policy and objectives which take into account legal requirements and other requirements to which the organization subscribes, and information about significant environmental aspects.

Requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, to enable an organisation to control its OH&S risks and improve its performance.

National Highways Sector Scheme
National Highways Sector Schemes are bespoke integrated management schemes within an ISO 9001:2000 framework.

Metor abide by the following document schemes:
2A: The design and/or supply, installation and repair of fences for infrastructure works.
2B: The supply, installation, maintenance and repair of vehicle restraint systems.
2C: The design, supply, installation and repair of environmental barriers (structural) for infrastructure works.
5B: The installation of parapets for road restraint systems.

Network Rail Link-Up Approved
In order to become a supplier to Network Rail, various levels of accreditation are required, depending on the type of work to be undertaken. Together with other organisations in the railway industry, Network Rail participates in a common supplier qualification process called Link-Up.

Metor qualified via proof audit to undertake security and acoustic fencing and fencing lineside work. Staff hold Personal Track Safety (PTS) certificates, allowing them to work within the boundary of Network Rail tracks in the UK. All certificate holders undergo medical, drug and alcohol tests.

Metor are accredited by National Quality Assurance Limited who are a UKAS approved accreditation body.
